He provided us with some great information and advice throughout the day The bear sanctuary was a good place but Flavia our sanctuary guide told so many sad stories about how the bears end up there. We were very lucky as the day we went was not busy at all, be mindful of your chosen day as the castle can become very busy and difficult to actually get parking. “The tour operator was really quick to respond to our queries and rather than us meet at a pick up, point kindly picked us up from our accommodation. We were picked up at the agreed time and enjoyed our day. The bear sanctuary was a lovely experience and we saw lots of bears. It is very sad to hear how the bears had been treated so cruelly and the sanctuary are doing amazing work. After visiting the castle (which was very touristy and busy but has to be seen!) we were given some time to have a wander and grab some lunch .”
