“This was a great hike for us. A group of 3 in our 40’s & 50’s. Average health and regular exercise made this perfect for us. The terrain goes from pine forest roots, to meadow to rocky throughout. Hiking shoes are a must and bring water, there are refill stations along the way. Gabriel was our guide and he was fabulous at giving us options and checking with us along the way.”

“The day we went we drove through thick fog and arrived in a downpour. Alex offered to drive us to the lake and waterfalls rather than hike in the rain. We were dead set on hiking so we hiked. “What a great experience! This was a beautiful hike with plenty of gorgeous views and copious amounts of wild flowers (on April 1st!). Radu, who grew up hiking these mountains, was a fantastic guide. Not only did he provide lots of information about the area, he also offered hiking poles and gaiters for the sometimes muddy trails. The weather forecast was for rain but we never had any. In fact, near the lodge, we even had some blue skies and the clouds moved enough to see the mountain summits. Fantastic experience. Highly recommended!!”

“The hike was stunning, the weather was on our side and Adrian our host planned a route that was tailored to what we wanted from out hike. We came across a beer along the way, and Adrian was great at keeping us calm and giving us space between the bear to watch this amazing animal being in their natural habitat. We spent a full day exploring and we got to visit two peaks. All the colours from the trees were at the beggining of changing colour so we got so many beautiful pictures along the way.”
